Dear Editor
Hello there
Could you tell us where to find the outdoor swimming pool featured in Swimming 2007? Someone told us it was near the new covered pool, but we couldn't find it! Also, do we need a card to get into the pool and if we do, would we have to get it from the Ajuntamiento?
I would also like to say how impressed I am with Servicio Andalucia de Salud, and maybe you could pass on the information that it is so easy to make a cita de medico on the website - 2 minutes and it's done, no standing and waiting in the queue at the Centro de Salud - marvellous.
Best wishes
David & Val Rose, living in Alhaurin since February, from the UK, and loving it, the best move we ever made.
Hi Val
I have asked a colleage who told me the new one is by the new indoor pool, the indoor pool is just past the bp garage after grupo si, but not open to the public till sept, but the outdoor one is.
If go past bp towards alhaurin de la torre, over roundabout next left. As far as she knows she thinks, anyone can use it, or you can pay to use the one behind the bp, la penita.
Hope this helps. Thanks for the information about Servicio Andalucia de Salud I will look into getting the information on the site.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

Dear Editor
We'll go and see about the municipal pool and let you know what we find out. There must be others like us, who live in an apartment in the village and don't have pool or a car to get to the sea!
I would like to add a warning as well, about Spanish pavements. The shining marble looks great, but ... not only when it rains (which isn't a problem for much of the year) but also when it is sunny and hot, the pavements are lethal! I know, because slipping, on a steep downward slope, I broke my wrist! So, from now on, we will be walking in the road, just like many Spanish people do.
We think the site is great, keep up the good work.
Best wishes
Val Rose
Glad we can help and thanks for your advice.

Dear Editor I first read about the existence of your web site to-day in the July issue of the 'Inland' magazine. I immediately browsed it and was most impressed. Well done ! a great idea and perhaps long overdue. In particular I appreciated information concerning goings on at the Ayuntomiento as after all it is the mayor and his lieutenants who control our daily lives and as we do not have a 'Foreigners Dept' at the Town Hall we expatriates were all too often left in the dark. One idea I might suggest is you invite letters to the Editor of the type one often seen published in some of the local freebee press such as 'The Town Crier'. You might have to censure some as too often they contain excessive whinge-ing but also there are many which contain much useful information based on personal experience. I shall spread the word regarding the existence of your web site and may you receive many hits.
Keep up the good work. Yours Sincerely. Alec Abell.
No problem alec, great suggestion and as you can see if you have any comments or suggestions if it is possible we would be happy to help.
