XXIV Campaña Municipal de Natación Summer 2008.
Nearly a thousand visitors will use the facilities of the Municipal Sports Centre in the next few months.
The XXIV Campaña Municipal de Natación Summer 2008 was launched on June 30th and organised by the Department of Sports council of Alhaurin el Grande where nearly 1,000 swimmers of all ages will be participating. The campaign has been organised over 3 stages: from June 30th to July 18th and from July 21st to August 8th and August 11th to August 29th, mornings for children and evenings for adults.
"As in previous years we hope that the summer campaign will be a success, since children and adults whoenjoy the sport will receiving both the basic knowledge to get started in the practice of swimming and improve their technique and also competition. A good example of this is that we have a hundred students at the School Municipal Swimming each year who win in the provincial competitions which are organised, which leads to a considerable improvement in the competitive level of these students. "
