The project, whose total budget amounts to 300,000 euros, has been funded by the City of Alhaurín el Grande and the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Sport.
The panoramic viewpoint of Huerto Mateo is located in the historical centre, a plot of 2,500 m2, located between calles Zape, Nazareth and Ascensión. The project has two platforms at different levels from where spectacular views of the Guadalhorce Valley can be enjoyed. "

The edil highlighted as the main virtue of this new park, which is one of the most important assets of the municipality, landscape, as it has created a space of solidarity and coexistence for enjoyment for young and old alike, forming a privileged enclave and a spectacular vantage point from which commands one of the most spectacular views the Guadalhorce Valley. "

Note that access to Mirador Huerto de Mateo is done through steep streets of irregular layout, in the vicinity of the Consistorial house retaining the traditional architecture of the town; well within a radius of two-minutes walk are important assets such as Fuente Lucena, la Casa Consistorial and las Cuevas del Convento and the chapel de la Santa Vera Cruz, which this project enriches filled with core elements of great historical and tourist attractions.
