MIJAS CELEBRATES THE I TOURIST FAIR OF THE INTERIOR OF THE COSTA DEL SOL

A market of typical products, performances, a tapas route, tasting, raffles and stays in rural accommodation and a youth music festival form part of the four day programme.

Mijas will celebrate the I Tourist Festival of the Interior of the Costa del Sol that has been organised to inform everyone of the possibilities that the interior villages of the Costa del Sol have to offer tourists that are staying on the Coast. The activity has been organised by the Mijas Tourist Office and the Malaga Rural Newspaper and has the collaboration of the Junta de Andalusia, the Tourist Board and the County Council along with many private companies.

The venue will be on the Mijas Main Square "Plaza Virgen de la Peña" from the 4th until the 7th of August and will start at 6 pm each day. Fourteen different stands will be mounted where you will be able to obtain information of the different villages of the interior and taste a wide variety of different typical food and drink. Week ends in different rural accommodation will be raffled within the public and a tapas route around the village will be organised whereby you can obtain a drink and a tapa for the price of 1,25€. You will be given a passport and if you collect all the stamps you will receive a present. There will be music and dance on the stage each evening and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a taste of the interior of the Costa del Sol villages.
