The council of Alhaurin el Grande requests sports subsidies amounting to the amount of185,000 euros.

These subsidies will go to the locker rooms of the football field in the neighborhood of "El Chorro" and also building a pádel court in the Polideportivo Municipal.

The council of Alhaurin el Grande has asked the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Sport of Andalusia for two sports grants for two projects whose total cost exceeds 371,000 euros.

Specific aid has been requested to execute upgrades for the future football field made of artificial grass 'The Barriada de “El Chorro”'  in la Arquilla del Agua area, whose budget is 284,718 euros, which would be financed in equal parts by Junta and the municipalities, with each institution providing the amount of 142,359 euros.

Also, the council has asked for other assistance for the construction of a pádel court in the Polideportivo Municipal, whose budget is estimated at 86,294 euros, 50% co-financed by the Consejería and the Ayuntamiento, of which each entity would contribute 43,147 euros.

The Mayor, Juan Martín reported that "these projects are designed to expand the supply of public sports facilities in the locality, responding to the strong demand that exists in the municipality for such equipment.
