The work on the new Centro de Salud de Alhaurín el Grande will start in September.
 This week the council of Alhaurin el Grande has awarded the work for the Centro to the company “IMAGA, proyectos y construcciones S.A.”

The council of Alhaurin el Grande will build a new football stadium in Arquilla del Agua.
 The consistory has approved an agreement in plenary to finance the locker rooms of this future artificial grass Football Stadium, which could be completed in late 2009.

La Trocha Update
 The Centro Comercial La Trocha has been granted a license to operate the Sunday Market which will now be called Rastrillo La Trocha. The Rastrillo is to resume operations on the Sunday 06 July 2008.

The works of the Teatro Municipal will begin this summer.
 The council adopted the amended draft which includes a containment are of land, budgeted at 150,000 euros. The theatre's construction will start shortly.
