The council approves the study of a plot in the Cigarral, an area in front of the Carretera de Coín.

The development of this area will enable the construction of a sidewalk 8 metres wide, extending from “el Parral” until “el Cigarral”

The council of Alhaurin el Grande unanimously approved the detailed study for the development of theurbanization of the area "Cigarral" in front of the Carretera de Coín.

The development of this plot which consisting of 6,455 m2, will take place where there are seven family houses already constructed from “el Parral” until “el Cigarral”.

The Edil of Urbanisation reported that "the main street running through the urbanization will be improved, benefiting all the residents of the area."

With the final approval of the details of this study, the council of Alhaurin el Grande's latest development an area will benefit all residents of the Camino de Coín, because of the improved communication between the areas “el Parral” and “el Cigarral”

In this regard, the councillor of urbanisation announced that they "will also upgrade the nearby roundabout giving access to the urbanization Salmerón, providing it with a garden area and other improvements."

Mayor Juan Martín, for his part added that "these actions have an impact on improving safety for pedestrians because of the broad sidewalks, as well as improving the connection between the three neighbouring estates, we also will have a project that will allow for a more attractive entry to Alhaurin el Grande on the Carretera de Coín".
