Start of the comprehensive improvement works for Calle Gustavo Thörlichen, in the Barriada Huerta del Hoyo.

60,000 euros will be invested and the deadline for completion is forty days.

The council of Alhaurin el Grande has begun work on improving and modernizing Calle Gustavo Thörlichen, in the Barriada Huerta del Hoyo, a stretch that runs from Calle Molinos de Arriba and Calle Gran capitán.

The work consists of improving and modernising all of thel infrastructure and servicesincluding electricity, street lighting, sanitation, drinking water and telephones.

"These works are located inside the settlement plan and part of the comprehensive improvement of the townships in the municipality, undertaken in recent years by the government team. Townships such as "El Chorro," have already been improved and significant investments in areas as the Bajondillo, Huertas Altas, Camino de Coín, and the area of Huerta del Hoyo, are in the Huerta del Hoyo, the first phase of comprehensive improvement and soon will begin a second phase ", said Mayor Juan Martín, adding that "the comprehensive improvement of the poor infrastructure we inherited almost 8 years ago, has been one of our major challenges and we now have the satisfaction of having achieved this almost completely."
